Dirk Androff

Dirk_AndroffDirk Androff was inducted in the Player Category in 2001 in Ft. Myers, Florida. The last Dirk Androff of Naples, FL was recognized as one of the games true superstars at the time of his premature death at the age of 35 in October, 1997.
Androff, a 6'7, 290lbs giant played on six straight ISA World Series Championship teams from 1990 through 1995. In 1989 and 1990 while performing for Steele's Sports he led the series in home runs.
In 1989 and 1993 with Ritch's Superior/TPS, he posted the highest batting average in the Series with an .823 batting average in '89 and .704 batting average in '92. Ritch's-Superior/TPS won the ISA World Series from 1991-1995. Dirk appeared in 7 straight finals, finishing second with Steele's in 1989, and was named to 6 All Tournament Teams.
