Lonestar picked up the paid berth in the Class E NIT at Gainesville Ga. They finished the tournament with a 5-1 record. Going thru the winners bracket undefeated by knocking of Jdawgs by a score of 19-7, getting by a very good Mustangs team with a 10-9 score and getting there bats going with a 14 to 4 win over JPGC . In the winners bracket final Lonestar escaped with a 8-7 win over a very hot A-town team that had just won the previous game by a score of 31 -7 over Bam tree |
The 2013 Illinois ISA tournament schedule is now posted. We are looking to add a few more tournaments in the future. In 2013 all tournaments teams should put their roster on line and take a copy of the roster to each tournament. Also new this year men's D & E teams can qualify for the ISA World by participating in 2 qualifiers and playing in the State & Regional. Good Luck to all of you in 2013.
